Job Requirements:

• Experience in C / C++ / java
• Development & integration of AOSP platform / framework, custom ROM
• OS concepts, threads, data structures, system level programming
• Kernel / Device driver development
• BSP development
• Porting of code to newer version of kernel / OS
• Yocto / OS Development
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools e.g. Git
• Understanding of the product development life cycle for embedded platforms
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrable experience in Android platform (AOSP) development
• Experience in adding features / fixing bugs to Android platform
• Perform security updates for Android platform
• Hands on kernel / device driver development for Linux
• Previous experience of Android framework development
• Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles
• A team player with excellent communication skills
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
• Highly organised and able to prioritise
• Able to work collaboratively with cross functional team & clients
• Contributes to improving existing systems and policies and drive customer excellence
